For a few months, I had been looking to find a lab that conducted meaningful research that had was rooted in social justice. So, when I saw applications for Carceral Ecologies had come out, I decided to go for it. I was excited to find a lab that allowed me to continue learn more about my passion for social justice and abolition while also learning more about research!
