I decided to join the lab because I’m passionate about researching environmental injustices and their intersections with the prison industrial complex. I’m particularly drawn to the team’s community-led projects and partnerships, ranging from currently incarcerated individuals to local community groups, which provide an opportunity to engage directly with the people most affected by these issues. I‘ve always been excited to contribute to this work and learn from the diverse perspectives of our lab members and community partners!
